Sky3ds+ supports FAT32 format of microSD card, while the biggest storage of one file in FAT32 is 4GB. But there are many famous 3ds games such as Monster Hunter X are over 4GB. If you just put the original 3ds roms to your microSD card, sky3ds+ will not read it.
So you need to trim 3ds roms and then place the trimmed roms to microSD card. In this post, we will introduced you one rom tool-3DSExplorer.
Step 1: Download 3DSExplorer.zip and extract it. Open 3DSExplorer.exe.
Step 2: Click File =》 OPEN,then choose the 3ds rom which is needed to be trimmed.
Step 3: Then click CCI => Trim CCI. Then you will get a trimmed 3ds game which can be placed in your microSD card.
